Signs a condom hurts because it is too tight
Either you feel a pinch, or the base gets a red ring. It won't slide all the way down, or else it rolls back up. Your erection goes away, or numbness sets in. Pinching, breaking or riding back up means the condom is too small, according to Condom Depot
Erection loss with a condom: can't stay hard?
When it squeezes the base, a condom can shut off circulation, and you often lose the erection. Start by measuring your girth, then go up one band: from 53 mm to 56 or 57, or from 56 mm to 60.
