Condom slips off

If your condom wrinkles, slides or comes off inside, it's usually too wide. Go down one width band.

Why does a condom slip or fall off?

Durex says a condom that's loose can slip off during sex. A condom may be too wide if it wrinkles, bunches at the base, or moves when you move.

Condom keeps slipping off? What to try next

Start by measuring your girth, then step down one band: 49 or 51 mm instead of 53. While you're still erect, pull out and keep holding the base with your hand as you go.

The condom came off inside: what now?

Take it out and treat it as a breakage. That day, ask a pharmacy, clinic or doctor about testing and emergency contraception.
