Is a condom's size tied to its thickness?
No. Width and the thickness of the wall are not the same thing. Even a thin condom will pinch or slip when its width doesn't fit you. First pick the right width, then find the thinnest product made in that width.
Condom material and thickness
Polyurethane is what Sagami's 0.01 and 0.02 are made of, and it can be produced far thinner than latex. The polyisoprene used by SKYN has no latex in it and feels soft, but it isn't any thinner. Latex condoms sold as thin run around 0.04 to 0.055 mm.
